So what's with the "LA"? I wondered where that came from as well.

From what the family that owns the store told me, it all had to do with people not being able to pronounce the families last name when they first opened up the store. Folks would be looking for lascalla music, lascalia music, or call looking for directions to lascallea music, etc. So they just decided to call it L.A. music
