Isn't Your downtown more Country genre audience surroundings?

I mean, don't wanna hear about "Blues Brothers" movie scene like, You know, beer bottle throwing into the steel net in front of the stage! :D

nashville has been bongo'd 6 ways to sunday. the results of the study are in, and are as follows:

observations: suits reaction typical of the species. reserved, confused, stoic. uncanny ability to simultaneously tap both feet at seemingly random unrelated events. after careful review of the videotape, further detailed mathematic calculations revealed a previously unknown subdivision of time that occurs just a fraction of a second before the 1 and the 3. Every A&R person in the room was not only able to locate this previously unknown moment in what musicians refer to as "the groove", but quite frankly, it seemed impossible for any of them to avoid it. this is obviously an exciting new development for scientists and has been named A-R+1+3. we all knew going into this the bongo6 was going to ruffle some feathers, and potentially crap some pants. i am happy to report i am pretty sure it did both. there was a pant crapping, but i cannot be certain the bongo inspired that movement. what i do know is that one of our well respected elderly producers who's credits include moses unplugged (at red rocks), patsy cline (a tribute to iron butterfly), and the latest jonas brothers footnote in the history of modern computing and evil magic, was sitting at the vip table which just happened to be 4 feet from the stage directly in the invisible jet stream of subsonic disenfranchised bongo angst. after we finished the first song i looked over and noticed the other suits previously seated with him slowly one by one relocating to the bar along the side wall trying to blend in with the less important people wearing normal clothes. finally the poor guy was all alone and i had a straight line of sight, and i know you think i might be exaggerating, but i could almost swear that i saw heat waves shooting out the pleats of his dockers. hard to say for sure. it could have been the stage lights and the smoke playing a trick on me, but im almost certain cause it had a distorted optical wave kinda thing goin on, his pants looked like the hood of a black camaro on a hot summer day. it finally started to drift to the other tables and i could hear people that were still trying to figure it out saying that it smelled like someone spilled elmers glue in the club. again, pants were with 100% certainty good and crapped, theres no doubt about that. was it the result of a rogue brown note transmission that came as a consequence of pent up bongo frustration? we may never know, but regardless with all that in mind, id have to say it was a pretty successful debut. oh, and it turns out its a serious chick magnet too. so i got that goin for me.... which is nice.

BP put some serious mojo in that instrument when he designed it.

Very cool recap of last night. Now, about that video.....

You're very eloquent, Craig, we all thank you for representing.

The Bongo as Chick Magnet; thing is it's an integral part of the pre-amp, there are transmitters, very small ones, that emit signals to Females luring them to the allure, beauty and tone of the Bongo.

I don't think that MM will admit to this; can you blame them?

Glad to hear the gig went well, we all knew it would and you would blow them away. Kewl.

When you come out to your old stomping grounds, allow me to buy you a Fish Taco...

Nah, I thought it, he posted it.

We're still here, I enjoyed the show though :)

It explains the extra horse manure in the pastures this morning too.

Many props for flaunting the Bongo though... Many many props.

The only problem with the whole chick magnet thing is that they end up wanting to get IT'S number not yours! LOL

those nashville people sound like the hand sitters that frequent a small club in Darlington, SC that I play every now and then...weird at first but you get use to it I guess:D

I miss playing nashville though!

Yeah, that's my experience too. I think that my natural repellent effect overcomes the Bongo's magnetism. At least they aren't running away screaming like they used to....
