Should have never let the BA4SSS go (now hanging with ProjectApollo), but thankfully, able to replace it with a near duplicate. This time around, it has a handy thumbrest.

I will tell myself I won't off this one at some point, but I should never make promises I might not be able to keep.

I love this finish (white pearl) and with tort, a classic combination.

There you go, great way to get back up. Smokin' bass. But " that ain't no thumb rest, that's some thunder right there "
nice score.

So true.

I have a gig where I need to switch back and forth from motown/stax to a more modern tone several times during the evening. Bongo can do it with some knob twidling, but Big Al makes it work effortlessly with just a few buttons pushed. Since I'm already haulin more gear than almost anyone else in the band (keys + bass), having only one bass is a real benefit.
