All I can say is this sucker was well worth the wait! Haven't plugged it in yet (that's tonight through the big rig at rehearsal) or put the custom winter real-tree camo pickguard on it yet, but the color is better than I expected, and the new lightweight tuners are super awesome. This thing is absolutely flawless and GORGEOUS! Thanks BP and crew!

Ohh yeah, ...interesting color/pg combo, ...but those new tuners are outstanding, ...fits perfect on a 5 string Bongo's headstock!

Congrats!

Thanks for the compliments on the bass guys, but the fine folks @ EBMM deserve the praise... fit and finish are as perfect as could be, and this color is freaking awesome - it's one of those colors where pictures don't do it any justice! I'll give it a thorough rip at practice tonight and let you know what I think...

Beautiful!! Congratulations. I'm looking forward to hearing the review and also seeing what you pick for a nickname for this one. :)

BTW, I realize you have brand new strings on that baby already but....I can highly recommend Cobalts or Flats on the Bongo 5H.

The only bass needed to cover any gig you have. Enjoy it.

yep, after playing it live with the band last night, i can say this is true. It has a completely different "attitude" if you will, compared to my DDII HHp... I think I'm in love! stu42, the HHp will be getting a new set of flats soon.
