Well she's here. The stork delivered her on Friday.
I spent about 4hrs in my home studio yesterday practicing for today and recording a CD prep song.
This bass not only looks killer but it's a player. EBMM has outdone themselves with this run. It's a little lighter than my 25th/Reflex and that roasted neck is smoother than silk. It could easily become my main weapon. I've already told the guys in the band that I'm determined to get it into the regular rotation.
I only got a couple pics today because the batteries on my daughter's camera weren't charged. By the time they were charged the sun was almost down so I'm going back tomorrow afternoon.
Here's what I have so far:

I'm wondering what it would look like with a flame pg

Whatz to wunder ?
Clearly, it would look way hot !!!

Prolly be banned out west during wildfire
season, as a threat to public safety, but
I'm sure Kevin would keep that black PG
on hand for seasonal use.

No guard

I had mentioned a flame guard earlier. I'm going to try and make up a trans red flame guard so the burst will show through. We'll see how that works out.

Thats a tough call, I like that the black lets the focus be the wood. I was thinking a clear guard as well... maybe tort. Great job experimenting

Black is just fine to me, ...but did You consider tort?

When I saw the 2nd batch of pix posted, tort hit me
too. Not only is tort kinda sorta like fire [hot embers
rather than hot-rod flames] but it also makes for a
cool famberly resemblance for a 3rd batch of pix ;-)
