The big brown truck dropped this off yesterday:

Very pleased so far. The bass needs some TLC and new strings for sure. The headstock looks like it got into a fight with the drummer's crash cymbal but that's alright. I wanted a bass that I could gig with and not worry about and I love the Stingray tone.

Both of my basses that I am gigging with are EBMM's now. That is a good feeling!

Ohh, ...just joined (finally) Talkbass forum and saw that one there too!

I thought it's a Classic 5 with after-market pick guard, but now I see it's SUB!

Are SUB's EBMM basses? Or "something" by Music Man?

I have the identical bass with an after-maket PG. Awesome instrument and well worth the price paid. Enjoy!!

Right on madbassplaya - I have that exact same bass. I call it my trainer as I'm learning how to play 5 strings with her. If I like it, then I'll get me a real bass. :D

I haven't gig'd with her yet as I'm still not all that comfortable with 5 strings. I sure wish BP would build a 3 string. I'd buy that in a New York Minute. ;)

I'll congratulate you here as well as the other place - I hope you like yours as much as I'm liking mine... I suppose I could start a thread, also... Happy NBD,

Congrats, can't figure out the color...... Is it black??? In the picture it appears to have a green tint?

If it's just like mine - and it appears to be - I *think* it's called "graphite", as it's more of a very dark grey than it is black...
