I can't wait to get it home and cranked up on my amp. I'm told switch position 2 and 4 are the magical ones

The neck is gorgeous and really nicely figured. The only spot that is a bit thin in figuring is the money making area between the 2nd and 7th frets. I actually think that is pretty cool.

I've been playing 5 strings exclusively for the past 6 months so I'm still adjusting to the small neck a bit. What surprised me is how good the clear coated neck feels. I love the wax necks and I was afraid I would not like the finished neck but it plays really nicely. I'd like to say it's fast but since I can't play fast it's not rely relevant. ;-)

Um.... actually, I like to use all except those two... seriously, besides the signature StingRay sound in position 1 (single H at the bridge), a really cool and unexpected sound is position 5 (single H at the neck): it's phat!

My favorite HH positions are 1 (of course) and 4, but the pos 3 slap sound is way cool and pos 5 is really thick and nice. Come to think of it they're all pretty darn good...

I just bought one of these yesterday, but it won't be in my hands for a week. I'm soo stoked!

I was thinking these had a Tru-Oil finish on the neck? Looks like clear but feels more natural.
