Me too, love 1 & 3 the most.

Um.... actually, I like to use all except those two... seriously, besides the signature StingRay sound in position 1 (single H at the bridge), a really cool and unexpected sound is position 5 (single H at the neck): it's phat!

Thanks again everyone. I've finally had a little time with it at home. Pos 1 and 5 really do it for me right now. In a direct A/B comparison with my Sterling 5 it sounds much more aggressive and puncture. I like that a lot!!! I don't know if that is because the ebony FB or roasted neck but it is more noticeable than the maple/rosewood comparison. (or maybe it's the Vintage sunburst that makes the difference :rolleyes:)

The fret sprout is already getting better. Funny how that is always a problem with basses I've picked up in Vegas.

This one is definitely a keeper :D

I'm convinced the Ebony board is bringing the edge. The Roasted's are a hit in my book. Glad to hear you're digging yours.
