Plugged it in the PC sound card and tried a little bit through professional AKG studio earphones in the mix with music and alone!

Well, through phones is passive mode just enough, just tried tweakin' a bit in active, but I'll keep that "weapon" (active EQ) for a live gigs! ;)

Let's talk about passive mode at this point:

So, ...bridge H in serial and parallel is killer, like it should be at any Music Man :D !!!
(in serial tone knob full open, in parallel 50% muted)

I'm especially impressed with inner coils in serial (tone full open), ...just wow!

Neck H is great in parallel, very useful for some special music genres I play! (domestic country and folk)

Neck H in series, well, should I say rock P bass in whole new dimension!

For slap, all coils (both H on) in parallel, outstanding slap tone, tone knob at 50% muted!

Inner coils in parallel and 50% tone knob muted, well (don't kill me now  )...pure J Bass 7ender tone, but one step forward in positive way!

This above are my first impressions, ...and that's very important review, because adrenaline is very high at that moment, brain works very fast, so conclusions are natural! (Sorry, I have some military education too :D )

One more note: I'm impressed with factory setup, that wasn't case with my previous Music Man! (Sterling needed truss rod setup and octave tunning)
This time setup is perfect, after tuning with digital chromatic tuner, truss rod/neck = no need for correction, straight like an arrow! Octaves are perfectly tuned, no need to move bridge saddles! Maybe I'll just lower each string a bit, but we'll see about that tomorrow! ;)

BP, person who was doing factory setup deserves a rise (salary increase)! :p

Congratulations, Keko! That's one serious bass there! :D

BTW, yeah those inner coil settings truly are the secret weapon of the Reflex... just ask Craig!

Beautiful bass Keko. Your dealer is also something special. His stock looks better than some stores here.

Hi Keko, really nice bass you ot there ... what'S the name of your dealer/where is he located ... better assortment than any store I've seen in Austria ...

Thanks!

My dealer's web page: TMS Music Shop
(it's in Croatian, but You'll get the picture)

Yeah, there are plenty of Music Mans there behind us and stunning amplification around us too, ...I'm only sorry that I miss Albert Lee, he left the store about an hour before I came to pick up my bass!

Keko,

That pretty much how I pictured it. Love all that white goodness. I wonder why they went with the black nut? I think I would've preferred white better, but it's not that big of a deal. Congrats! Play her in good health!

Don't say that about the nut!

When I saw first maple boarded Reflex basses (Black and Sunburst) they went with the black nut too! That was love at the first sight for me, but all this time I was afraid that my could come with white one, ...thank God it didn't!

Anyway, from my point of view, black nut, in all this whiteness is good for better contrast and goes well with black dots on the board, black preamp knobs, black binding and black EBMM logo over the matching headstock! :)

Wow Keko - that is great  Having played a Reflex 5HH the other day I have realised how much I like them - and that colour combo's the best I've seen. Congratulations. I'm looking forward to some sound samples.

Great looking bass! If I didn't already have two white Musicman basses, maple/white would be the color scheme I'd want. Plus, I haven't owned a maple boarded MM before.

Use it in good health!
