New Bass on Order

Yes, ...it's a Bongo, ...I just want to be sure about the new LW tuners, are they included?

My dealer was a little bit unsure about that (he's a guitar player anyway :D )...so please if someone from EBMM can confirm that information?
On official web site is still old picture of 5 string Bongo with old "elephant ears" tuners, but in tech specs new LW tuners are an official information, right?

However, ...order is already processed to the factory today, as far as I know!

You are correct. Anything ordered new from them these days will come with the new tuners.

What color did you go with, again?

Congrats Keko!! I'm really looking forward to your review once you get it. I don't recall...Have you actually been able to play a Bongo H before?

What is the diff between classic and new ones tuners. I'm looking forward to obtain a Bongo this year so I'm interested in any info about this bass.

New tuners are light weight, knobs are designed more ergonomically and modern look like, gear ratio is higher for better intonation and more precise tuning, light weight for a less neck dive ...etc., ...correct me if I'm wrong!

Also, from my personal point of view, those new tuners match better to modern Bongo design than old "vintage looking" ones!

I prefer the new tuners on the Bongo.

I would buy a H Bongo Piezo in the UK if I could find one!

Keko...did you go Piezo?

Nope, ...after loooong thinking, I decided that I really don't need one!

I just wanted one modern point & shot 5 string Music Man bass with single H at the sweetspot, ...so now with my "Monster truck" multi-genre reflex 5 HH, new Bongo 5 H will make a perfect couple!

Movielife,

Last year I bought my Bongo 4 Hp. It came with the new tuners. The are definitely much better than the older style and much more ergonomic. Also, with the Bongo 4 Hp, between it and my Bongo 4 H, it is a toss up between which one I like best. I love that piezo option. It adds so much more to the bass and the eq on it as opposed to the 4 H eq, is a lot more versatile. My Bongo 4 HHp should be here tomorrow and I'm really anxious to see how it compares to the 4 Hp.
