Been a while since I been 'round, but a nice score off the TB. Guys there were thinking (as well as seller), it was an odd-duck "darker natural" finish, which didn't seem right. After receiving it and a bit of research, I realize it's styled in the soon-to-be-d/c'd translucent gold. Great finish color. Almost looks like a smoky bar aged natural finish without the bar stank. Such a comfortable neck and feel for a 5 banger. An absolute keeper.

Oh man, I love the Translucent Gold finish with the Tort pickguard. There's an SR4 in that color for sale at Dave's Guitar in La Crosse, WI. If I didn't prefer Sterling necks, I probably would've bought it when I was there a month ago.

Congrats on the purchase. She's a stunner!

The five is not my thing, but that is a rather handsome bass you have there, still (for so many basses) my bugbear is such a nice top shouldn't be hidden behind plastic, but hey, thats me. Rock on man.

I own 4 MM basses, in 4 different finishes, and Trans Gold is by far my favorite. It was beautiful when I first got the bass, and it's even more beautiful years later. An awesome finish, pretty bass, congratulations!!

That is one awesome looking bass! Definitely run the serial number to find out what the "official" color designation is.
