I recently bought a used albert lee had it a week /love this guitar. It was posted from a cooler climate state so perhaps the hotter climate where I live has caused neck to change. The tuning went out and when I tried to tune it I had buzzing at fifth fret E bass and it just sounded flat on all strings.Looking along neck it has bowed back this was a surprise as I didnt expect this to happen,so as it needs readjusting to get it straight again is this a case of turning the truss rod clockwise till it gets back to a straighter position?.I have not done a set up or neck adjustment before.Just want to shure I adjust truss rod turn it only as needed.Any advise is appreciated,

That is very common. In the spring, all of my guitars of every make went totally whacked. I became a neck adjusting madman. I did learn something from customer service. To pull the neck back (make the strings go towards the frets), turn the wheel clockwise (looking from the bridge). To give it releif, turn counter clockwise.

If you change string gauge, it'll also change both the neck setting and intonation. I'm going through that with a new floyd equipped guitar today. Ugh....intonation on a floyd. Did I say UGH yet?

I hear ya! Intonation on a FR is a job. Detune... tune... detune... tune....... I need to intonate my Peavey w/ it's FR but i've not had the energy to do it with a new BFR sitting so close!

I much prefer the JP's trem over a FR any day!

I just bought one of those "p word" guitars myself.....thus the self inflicted setup routine. I play 10's, unlike anyone else playing EVH music.
