check the ernie balll website under FAQ's, it's there.

Basically to clean it, use lemon oil or lemon juice, and then to make it smooth again, apply some gunstock tru-oil( birchwood casey is the brand they reccomend, and some tru-wax from birchwood casey (althought i ahve the regualr wax..not "tru-wax".

just apply the lemon oil/juice, and wipe moderatly hard with a soft cloth to get he dirt off, the apply the oil not excesivly, the nwipe it off. then comes the most imprtant part, the wax...which u should apply rather lightly, and buff it out, and reapeat applying it/buffing it out to get the smoothness u want. and by buff out, i mean put both ends of the cloth on either side of the neck, and pull one side then the other...and so forth...get what i am talking about...i really can't explain thing well.

sound simple?

just check the site..it has simpler instructions if u don't get mine.

Here you go Paz:

When you apply the gunstock oil use very small amounts at once on a clean small rag. Do a section in a straight line in the neck, length wise. Apply it in one long swipe, enough for it to wet the surface of the neck. Then apply a little more to the rag and do the next section, and so on. Don't wipe it back and forth, you may get an uneven textured surface when it dries.
