Can you exchange necks between a regular SR5 (funny pickguard) and Stingray Classic 5 (oval pickguard)?

I might have some parting out to do.

I also see no reason why this wouldnt work but this is just me taking a guess. The fact is that swaping a neck isnt that much work, so.... only one way to find out.

Well, with the stingray 5 classic having a 21 fret neck, and the normal Stingray 5 having a 22 fret beck, I would think it probably won't work.

Not quite. The 22 fret neck could have an overhang like a 22-fret Strat neck (as opposed to a deeper neck pocket).

Yes it could. But it's not :) check out some sr5 pictures. You can clearly see that the fb and neck end at the same point in the neck pocket. Otherwhise the truss rod wheel would be covered by the fretboard....
