Has anyone changed the neck pickup on their EBMM Steve Morse? I love the other three pickups, but am looking for something with a little more warmth in the neck position. Thinking about getting something in the PAF range, maybe a Gibson '57 classic of a Dimarzio Anniversary PAF. Any expereince out there?

Warmer than that? I think it is one of the most articulate, warmest yet clear neck pickups I've ever heard. I really am not sure what would be warmer than that...good luck with whatever you do get to replace it.

Hah! Yeah, it's pretty warm already.

I did have a set of Axis p'ups in one a while back. They work really well actually, though I prefer the stock p'ups, they're more versatile.

Glad you guys like it. I'm looking for something different. Please only respond if you have changed the neck pickup. Looking for people's experiences with other pickups.

I don't have a Morse, but big fan of the 36th Anny PAF (DP103). I have them in a few guitars, including an Axis SS.

I believe John Czajkowski from Hectic Watermelon (he posts here from time to time) installed a pair of Dimarzio Anniversary PAF's in his main Morse model some time ago. I can't hurt to ask him about his experiences

More warmth?! Seriosly!? I think that only Steve Morse has the warmest neck pickup of all pickups in the World, but You think diffrently!? I would never change it!
