Hi everyone

I followed the instuctions in the Ernie Ball video on neck refinishing,so i rubed with the soap, wipe with paper towel than sand with 1000 grit, wipe off, applied gunstock oil, wipe off excess and realise i don't find my gunstock wax!!!

Do you think i can leave it like it is(gunstock oil only)or i absolutely have to go out and get the wax right away?

By the way, right now it's smooth as a baby's butt!

Tank you

Phatduckk,thanks

You mean you use steel wool and that's it,you don't put anything to protect?
and what kind of steel wool are you using?,i might do the same thing next time, seems less work!

Wax is not in my cabinet, so what I do is apply 4-5 thin coats of gunstock oil, polishing between coats.

I might be wrong, but it feels good to me.

Thanks guys

So it'll stay like that, the feel is amazing,i just wanted to make sure that it wasn't going to damage my neck because there's no wax on it
