Neck Shimin' and Trem Blockin'

Had a great morning shimmin an Axis neck and Blockin the Trem.
(keeps the trem from hitting the guitars top when it comes back to rest)
Its REALLY cool the way that you can ZERO these guitars in with a little hand work.
I use a hard maple block for the trem block and then hand sand it to fit.
Anyone else try this?

Nice work

I used to do that back when I had Floyds (I've got one on a homemade Strat, it's still blocked). Used wood blocks with some double sided tape to hold them to the trem block.
