Neebie neck question

Hey everyone,
I have been a member for a couple of days trying to get my feet wet. Have to say you all are a very tight a respectful group! Very Cool Well I bought a used OLP BENJI MADDEN Please don't hurt yourselves rolling your eyes I really like this guitar. But I LOVE the neck! The top edge has a pronounced shoulder and the high E side is rounded beautifully. Is this an EBMM design or just a factory mistake by OLP? If it is a design, what other EBMM guitars have this profile? I truly cannot put this guitar down it plays fantastic. I did change the pickup and knobs. I just wanted a bit more clarity and drive. Again this is a great forum.

Hi Durango, Congrats on your guitar and welcome. No eye rolling here. I had an OLP Axis style years ago and the neck was not the same shape as the EBMM Axis. I can tell you that the necks on Music Man guitars is one of the things that makes them so special, to me anyways. Enjoy your guitar!

I'll be heading to the show but I've never been there before. One of our other members has been there and I believe he said there was an EBMM booth there.

As I mentioned in the first thread I love the neck. I have a set of Steve Lukather Transitions. I pretty sure I am going to route the pickguard and drop them in with a three way. The body is routed for a HSH already.

Thanks everyone for the great comments and welcomes! My guitars color is nice but it is nothing compared to Tollie's LIII Blackburst- I get lost in that grain pattern!
