Hello y'all,

The input jack on my '94 3-band MMSR is crapping out on me. It cuts out intermittently in the heat of battle and I find it's remedied when I push the cord connector at the jack. I can't tell if it's the cord or the jack. So, I'm going to replace both. Where can I find the input jack that EB uses on this bass? I know it's a stereo jack, but the standard stereo jack has 3 terminals to solder up and the MMSR input jack has 4 terminals. Can anyone (Big Poppa) help on how to get a direct replacement?

replacing the cable as a first step would be easier than obtaining a new jack.

otherwise, contacting customer service would be a good start to getting a replacement jack:

maddog,

Thanks alot. I just called EB and bought a couple of input jacks. Being that I'm not sure what the problem is, I don't want to replace the cord and, during a gig, find that it was an input jack issue. I figured I'd fix both and get rid of the problem altogeher.
