Hi Tomi! Welcome to the forum!

Looking at completed auctions on eBay, within Europe, nothing has sold for less than €1195 in the last three months. €1000 is either a very good price, or a scam. In fact the newest Sterling by Music Man store prices are more than that. I think you should be careful.

Any European Petrucci experts out there? What do you guys think?

Not an expert by any means but an EBMM for less then a grand in Europe is a really good price (unless guitar is in terrible shape!!). I would say, try it and if you like it pull the trigger. A bit of bargaining never hurts, so make the guy an offer you never know. Good luck!!

I would think that 1000 EUR is pretty good. I sold a fully loaded 2007 Redburst for 1200 EUR here in Slovenia. I started at 1600 and no one bit until 1200 ;)

Ah, the piezo thing is overrated. You'd need a second amp to get the best of it and who can carry than on a bicycle in the cold of a Finnish winter? I hope you have a nice "pipo" to keep your head warm.

Kippis!

(Yes, those are the only two words I know in Finnish, except for Suomi, obviously).

Piezo would be a fun option, but I don't think I would ever use it after the first day of messing with it. An unloaded JP would suit me fine if I could get along with that neck profile.

Going to have to agree, it's nice to have simply for having it. The cleans on these guitars sound wonderful as is and already has a large variety of tones.

I like using the Piezo at Church because I don't own a Steel String Acoustic, and of course having both instruments in one is less stuff I need to carry around. What I rarely do is blend the piezo into the electric signal for more tonal variety, but it's incredibly rare for me to use. I wouldn't bother worrying about the upgrades like Inlays/Headstock Matching/Piezo. It's still an EBMM and it'll still play great!

JP6 Fully Loaded Piezo Mystic dream - second hand, these are rare animals in Europe.

I let one go for a tad under a grand a little while ago, but it wouldn't have appealed to a lot of people due to the relicing that had happened to it. I bought it and did a lot of work to it to get it back into a semblance of it's former glory. You could wait months or even years for another to pop up at that price.

I loved the piezo on that guitar ( I also have one on my Albert Lee) and use it a lot.

I remember seeing a JP6 in Denmark street London - no piezo, but the paint had been damaged. I believe it was new old stock and were selling it for around the £1500 mark.
