Help. Can I buy a replacement 22 fret Cutlass RS neck with a rosewood finger board from EBMM, I didn't see anyone listing them on my internet search? I recently found a Cutlass RS-HSS, but someone put a Jason Richardson 24 fret neck on it instead of the stock 22 fret one. No way am I ever going to set intonation. Thanks

Hi there, welcome to the forum!

Your best bet is to talk with Music Man directly. Feel free to email or call them. Usually Music Man will only replace an existing neck with another identical neck. and you’ll have to send the older neck back to them to get a new one. They may be able to help you out here, I do not know, but you have to talk directly with them yourself.

Also note, the cost of a new neck from Music Man (which are made to order, there’s no spare stock laying around in case somebody needs one) will be eye-wateringly expensive.

Where did you buy the Cutlass? Any chance if convincing the Seller to swap the Necks back? If the Seller was the one doing the Neck Swap…
I know some EBMM Necks are interchangable, but a 22 and 24 shouldn‘t even work unless it‘s a Conversion Neck.
The Person playing the JR with the 22 Fret Neck should have fairly severe Intonation Trouble too, shouldn‘t he?

A couple of years ago I replaced an Axis neck and they charged me $400 - which was less than a similar neck from Warmoth (which won't fit at the heel anyway). Prices are probably higher today, but I can't imagine it's more than $600 unless you want a painted/matching headstock. I also work down the street from the factory, so I could drop off my guitar on a Monday and pick it up on a Thursday!

The bad news is that they keep the old neck.

As suggested, email CS and they will provide the details and pricing if available.
