Need help! AL or ASS

hey spud
if I correctly interpreted your AL neck profile, then the thickness at the 1st fret should be aprox. 22mm and 24mm at the 12th. Am I right?

Tell ya what I'll do.
I've just got back home today from a break and will get my AL out of the case tomorrow (Sunday) and measure the Depth with my caliper guage.
Gotta go down the pub now !!

I only had a few !!

I have just measured the thickness of the neck (very carefully as I couldn't find my plastic vernier guage - I had to use a metal one )

The thickness (Girth) of the neck at the nut and 5th fret is 22mm and the 12 fret is a "gnats gonad" more - seems like 22.5 mm.

I have edited my original post to now reflect this info.

The strings I left on but slackened them off and slide my caliper (vernier) under the strings.
So yes, the measurements are taken from the bare neck not including strings.

I love the neck.
