Need help deciding: Petrucci Color

How can you go wrong with the Pearl Red Burst? I wish they make more burst colors for the regular JPs, Silver burst? Vintage Burst? Purple Burst? I would drool over it even without the quilt or a flametop.

The current JP6 color spectrum has 2 whites, 3 greys, 2 Blacks, 2 same blues.. Im hoping to see some greens and purples in the near future.

I'm not a fan of Pearl Blue either. It's just blue with pearl. Because of the burst, PRB is red, it's almost purple, it's almost black, and it's pearl! It really IS a rich color, and most pictures on the net never do it justice.

The other thing that's cool about PRB is that it's available only on the JP. If you get another EBMM, you can always get Pearl Blue on that if you really like that color. You're only going to be able to get PRB on the JP. So, if those are the two colors you're most interested in. I'd say get the PRB on the JP. Save the Pearl Blue for another guitar.

Dude, the PRB is hot. Doesn't matter if everyone who owns a MM has it, only those with exceptionally good taste play Musicmans anyway.
