Why is it that there are so few Music Man guitars for sale up here in the great white north?
Here in Ontario, my local Long and McQuade has absolutely nothing and it's been that way for quite a while now. I'd be buying a couple a year if they were available to go and put my hands on one.

Haha,ya, you have a few of them. My local Long & McQuade has nothing in Music Man. Sure I could order something but I want to go in and impulse buy something. I just think its hard to sell a Music Man guitar if nothing is in stock. I think Long & McQuade is more interested in selling their Gibsons and Fenders.

In TO and the GTA there are quite a few stores that are well stocked (including the downtown L&M which usually has quite a few). But yeah ... I find it's hit and miss elsewhere. Of course, MM is still a small brand relative to the big guys so it's not always easy to find 'em.

L.A. Music has a few, I've bought 2 MM's there, L&M Burlington has a few new and used, Mountain Music in Hamilton has a couple as well, lots out there, although I find I can get a better deal on exactly what I want online. a few of the above mentioned are a tad askew in their pricing and customer service. I ordered my LIII from L&M, and although it took 7 months to arrive it was several hundred less that L.A. could do on the one they had in stock (they had both HH and HSS LIII's last time I was there btw..) Is there anything specific you are looking for? perhaps we as a community can keep an eye out.

First of all, I won't shop at L.A. Music. I've been there and didn't like the attitude in there. There is nothing real specific I'm looking for...well, maybe a cool looking AL would be nice. I'm down in the most SW part of Ontario and there really is nothing down here. Once a year or so I head out on a guitar road trip and do hit some of the GTA stores...I guess it all comes down to timing for me. Maybe if L&M would put all their Music Man stock online I would be buying more guitars!

wheres my pick?
