need serial info on new purchase

Hi all, new to the forum and planning on picking up my first EBMM Axis. I am trying to find out about the serial number, date, location, etc. The s/n is G40587. Any help would be appreciated.

This Trans Gold Axis was done on 3/17/08 and shipped to Musician's Friend.
