I store all my chord charts and lyrics in my brain, it's been working for years bult I suppose not everyone likes music so it might not suit you. Learn the songs man, it's the only way you'll be able to play them, you're not a robot.

Is the stand for lyrics, chord charts, or sheet music? Unless your eyesight is really bad, I find that lyrics/chord charts go really well on the floor on on your monitor wedge. Nothing worse than a rock band with music stands on stage, IMHO.

+1

Understandable for fill-in spots.

I've been using my iPad for charts as well. I haven't used it on a gig (by that time, I've memorized the material), but at rehearsals it's good. I bought a Bluetooth pedal that will flip the pages. I'm still not that good a flipping the page far enough in advance to not stumble in my playing, but I'm getting there!

My guy uses an iPad occasionally. Sets-up the display to inverse color (white on black) to minimize the light. Clip on stand/holder works real well.

But - foot pedal to flip pages??? That's great - did not know about that nifty tool and will have to share. Thanks.

Well the clip on worked pretty good. Served it's purpose well. Not the best performace as I just joined this band, but things will come together I hope.
