need to know what year my EBMM was made.

I"m new to this forum and was told someone might be able to help me find out what year my EBMM is. I"ve also been told you have to contact the company by phone. Any info. will help I have the serial number #99040. I bought the guitar used and now I'm interested to see what year it is. The trem system looks a little different than most that I've seen and has got me interested..thanks.

That serial number comes up as a Candy Red Silhouette HSS and it was done on 10/4/96

Thank you very much on the quick info, this forum rocks. Pictures will have to wait while I haven't actually taken possesion of the guitar...just a matter of time. Would anyone have any thoughts or info on the 1996 silhouette?..anything much different from other year models? The trem seems to look somewhat different than most and it kind of bothers me that it might not be the orignal. I'll get some pictures in a couple of weeks but any info. would be helpful.........thanks again.
