I've found this on g base
i think that isn't a stock guitar but a combo of a stock body of one and rosewood neck of another axis super sport all rosewood series
the neck wasn't "BFR" stomped

it's right or wrong

many thanks:)

If you can find out the serial # you'd be able to find out for sure. Could be stock, for an artist, etc. Regardless, it's gorgeous.

You mean like this one :D

I did the swap myself (Thanks to Beej for providing the neck) so no BFR logo cause at that time BFR were not released yet. I thought that only two person had a guitar like that DaveB (who purchase 2 to make one transblue with all rosewood neck) and I if you go for that one we will be 3 of us

Pete Dubaldo did it also but taking advantage of the All rosewood limited run (RW neck on his autumn sparkle)

Ozzy you are my kind of guy as that is something I would of done.

ily I dont blame you and know exactly where you are coming from, if you are going to pay that much scratch for a guitar like that you want to make sure it is not a partsacaster. It is one thing doing it yourself and another having someone selling it as stock, if that's not the case. I must say it is some piece of eye candy and hope everything turns out to be correct.

I reckon the rosewood neck is very different from maple in terms of feel, sonic wise I would say the RW is a little bit more warm and works perfectly with the Piezo

many thanks

i let it go

i'm sure that is a combo
the dealer have phone to ebmm customer service that said that this guitar was made with the limited run in 2008 and was all original
i don't think that ebmm have said that because the 2008 limited run was a BFR limited run this guitar wasn't stomped bfr
the dealer wrote to me that he realize how this guitare is rare and raise the price up 200$

i continue to try to find a real one

many thanks for my friends :):)

I'm not sure I'd trust the dealer's knowledge of the EBMM lineup. Let's see what Aziah has to say. I have a request in with her as to the validity of the guitar. She will know.

Perhaps I've got the serial # wrong. It's hard to see. A.J. just responded to my email:
"G41571 belongs to a Silhouette Special in white with a rosewood fretboard (not a completely rosewood neck)"

My question is: why does it have a "custom made" stamp on the ident plate? Each of mine have that but only because of their uniqueness (ie 25th,BFR, Reflex for Dallas guitar show). I know this topic has been discussed in another thread. What gives?
