Very nice! I'm intrigued by the maple fretboard. Was that an extra special special order? I didn't think you could get those in anything but rosewood.

its a limited run kinda thing and the first time they had maple on a jp6. They also offer rosewood which is cool. This guitar is absolutely gorgeous, I'm so damn happy i just ordered the same guitar a week ago from sweetwater.

I just got my Neptune Blue JP6 today too! Sooo sweet!! It's hard to actually capture the color, it's sort of blue-ish green depending on the light angle, awesome color. The flame on this neck is ridiculous, very 3D.

Awesome sound and feel, the fret job is amazing and so smooth with the SS frets. The guitar is very light and resonant, and the maple board gives it a slight spank when clean, especially in the middle position. With drive it's very warm and articulate. It sort of has the woodiness of an old of Les Paul, but in very modern way. I think its a super versatile configuration. I'm very happy with this guitar.
