Since abolone and moonstone. I might have to disagree Jack. Tort on a white bass is it. Mark has proven it works on several others and proven it well. But... It looks too much like my grandmother's linoleum and if I put it on a bass well granny is going to make me go cut a limb out of the peach tree. Dem hurts btw.

Word! The P had a black pickguard originally, and the J had white pickguard, pickup covers and control knobs.

What's odd to me is that the tort seems to work with any color. I would compare it to wearing cardigan socks with blue jeans. A bold fasion statement perhaps?
