Well, Fedex redeemed themselves today and delivered my new AL - Graphite Pearl w/ Piezo trem!

Haven't had a chance to plug it in yet, but that will come tonight - neighbors be damned!!! :)

That guitar is BEE-YOU-TEE-FULL !!! Congrats, Thindave, not only on receiving a gorgeous instrument, but on having the vision and good taste to order it in the first place - it's definitely one of the very nicest looking Albert Lees I have ever seen...

Jimi - thanks pal, I wanted to get one that was really different looking from the sunburst or blues that I've seen (not that there's anything wrong with them - I love em) and one that had more of a "rockin" look to it.

It sounds great! I had it going through the boogie before and the MM90's are awesome. Really nice cut and the 2 and 4 positions are really nice as well.

Now, to get me an acoustic amp...

Wait, what'll I tell the Mrs.? :)

I looked at the pictures and all I could say was ...
WOW
I love the fact that the piezo is controlled with the volume knob only. The silos are that way and I love it. The extra switch just gets in my way. If you need more control just put a EB volume hammer on the floor. I hope you will find the piezo trem to be as versatile and useful as I do. That is a sweet combination of color and pick guard .

Jawdropping. Only confirms my need to order a MM90 version to compliment my standard version.

Sweet lookin' axe you have there my friend! You don't see that color on too many A. Lee's- making it very jaw dropping! Keep rockin'!

Thanks all...

Norm, originally I thought I would have wanted a separate toggle for the piezo, but like you, I think this way works a little better. I'm not getting the best feel for it as I only have two electric amps, but it sounds really nice blended through my old Princeton Reverb.

I'm going to go try out a few acoustic amps today - a Trace, Fender Acoustasonic and one of the new Marshalls to see which I like better.

I started to order my AL in GP but decided on BP instead. Now after seeing yours I wish I would have gone with my first choice. Gee maybe I should just order another one...:D
