Here's my newest AL, couple of quick shots, non of which show off the bad assed flame this things got on it. The first thing I had planned on doing was changing out the pick guard. Forget that! This pick guard is phenomenal! I had never seen a photo that represented this well. This thing POP's!

I bought it from Keith - fingbeagles, who bought it from Pete. I passed on this one when Pete had it to buy the Egyptian Smoke AL, so when I saw it was available again, I did not want to make the same mistake twice.

So How do you compare the 2 ALs (SSS vs MM90) ?

I'd say that my single coils(Suhr) are quieter overall and a little thinner sounding. The mm 90's have that edge/growl at full volume. I think that the difference is fairly subtle overall its not night and day like if I were to compare the bridge p90 to the humbucker in my Morse

I'm still waiting to see an AL in the next 3 months, it's a SSS+trem, trans_red like this. The local dealer will call me when they have it in stock. I hope It will looked good as this one.

we have an AL just like that at the store with exception of a TORT p/g and hard tail, AMAZING!! makes me almost wanna play a skinny stringer
