New amp day

Been into my local store today, PMT in birmingham uk. Was looking to get an ampeg of some sort, price permitting. Saw a ba-115, only a 100 watt combo but had some power.
Took my sub5 to try it out and wow, what a sound. Been using a marshall mb series bass amp that my band mate bought a while back, this ampeg kicks ass, really brings out the character of the bass, lovely smooth bottom end, gorgeous mids and highs that arent too harsh, what a combination.
Cant wait to start playing around and rediscovering my sub5.

I had one but it wouldn't keep up with the drummers I was playing with, loved the tone of it though.

I had one too, and had to return. It was fine for rehearsal, but got lost in a live situation. I loved the tone though.

Picked it up today. Restringing my bass and cleaning it too.
New strings, new battery, new amp. Cant wait to get it plugged in
