It's incredible that you managed to work out the situation and get the exact bass from BPL that you wanted. This one is just a beauty. The flamed neck is so nice.

Everything looks pretty accurate. Although tentatively there are to be 3 Production colors, one of which being a gc exclusive. The upgraded necks have poly finishes while the standards are unfinished necks.

And thank you so much Greg, you took the unforseen obstacles like a champ! I'm happy to be a part of the team that made this work out for you!

Flatwounds were not factory. If they were the set I sent, then they are the EB flatwounds in 50-105.

That is the bass that I saw played by some unknown as a youngster , that literally made me want to be a bass player. Not a converted guitarist, not anything but a bass player!! So 31 years later , I am still a bass player. And look what comes back around . I love the look of the trans-white. Always has been a soft spot in my heart for that color. I really want one of those!!

Ps. How can you top a great bass that has an even better story to the acquisition of it? You can't .... Enjoy the Bass!!!

Having been discontinued previously, my Trans White looks like it will be a one-off (seems to be company policy on discontinued colors), and some have speculated that Shell Pink also might not make it to regular production--though I haven't seen any confirmation of that from EBMM.

Options on those that will be produced seem to be figured-finished necks and a choice of Rosewood or Maple boards--all with slab bodies, mutes and string-through bridges/bodies.

That is so disheartening, i wanted either a trans-white or a shell pink w/ matching headstock. Damn

It is official! I have her Fiesta Red sister headed to Wilmington! Thanks so much to Zombi for making it happen. I am going to try and get some footage of her being played on an awards show I am doing this Sunday if possible...The Trans White was my First choice but I really wanted a maple board and Red is my favorite color so it was only Natural that I tried to make it happen when I had the chance...Pics of all of the Classics together would be awesome!!

Peace,

T
