Tim has the sound only changed since the refret? I have an EVH that doesn't get gigged anymore because I'm scared the refret will change the sound.Tim O'Sullivan said:

Its always sounded thinner than the rest of the EBMM 'fleet' even pre re-fret.
I wouldnt worry about it changing the sound. If done properly there should be no reason it would sound different, unless you use massively different wire or that new fangled stainless steel wire.

Why thank you! I set it up last night, and put new strings on and its a beauty! Cant wait for my gigs this week to give it a blast!
I still have the sparkly Axis! I had the tone pot taken out, and replaced the 5 way with a 3 way, as the coil tap options just sounded poor to my ear. Now my #2 guitar! And people either love or hate the colour! There is no middle ground!
