new axis super sport with vintage chrome style covered humbuckers?

Hi all,

I know it's not worth much without a picture and I will get one up soon but I just brought home an axis super sport from guitar center last night. The funny thing is that it came with vintage chrome style humbuckers like you see in the 25th anniversary axis models...the pickups are screwed directly into the body...no black ernie ball pickup surrounders...just wondering if this is the norm or if someone at guitar center played around with the axe replacing parts or something.

haha...too good too be true my friend...also I do believe all the 25ths really let you know it on the headstock....the massive 25...ahhh...wouldnt that have been nice...i got it for a great price.
