Got my new Axis SS today; we are becoming friends.......very nice. Quality is superb, very light (doesn't really matter to me), great finish, awesome case,... well worth the money. I am going to have to get used to the little bit thinner neck, but I do like the fact that it has slightly smaller frets than my previous guitar; my fingers are not big sausages, so,...very good. I think the Seymour Duncan JB i had in my last one is a little hotter than the stock bridge Pup, however I am not messing with anything for a while. I love the locking tuners straight from the factory,....I do need to get something to make the neck slippery though, ASAP,..........firearms are outlawed here in Okinawa, so,...there aren't any sporting goods stores selling gun-stock oil, and I can't egt it shipped here due to hazardous material or something. I am hesitant to use the pledge like I could on my Ibanez,......I willl check out the furniture store today,........maybe the music shop too, but last time I was there they didn't have anything. Glad I made the purchase,......I am already scheming for a Morse Y2D in Tobbacco sometime after the new year. Thanks EB, superb product as a reasonable price. I will be back.

Figured top

The Top on that Axis looks fantastic!
The more you play it the better it will feel and perform for you!

Great buy...

Looking forward to seeing that guitar in action

Thanks everyone,.......the more I play it the less inclined I am to spring about 500 bucks for a new neck for my Ibanez........I might just sell it, cut my losses. The volume pot on the Axis is really nice, along with everything else,.....I'm sure I'll find something else in a few days too. Great guitar.

I sincerely doubt a JB is higher output than the Axis bridge pup.

Yeah, after a few sessions I really like the stock P-ups, I agree with you.....Love this guitar. Such a quality instrument for a reasonable price, unlike my former Ibanez. Their guitars don't even come with locking tuners and decent pickups half the time, and you are looking at spending as much if not more.
