well good news for me.... I have saved up enough money to get another guitar and I really really like the silo special w/ tremolo... I already have me a sub 1 and love it but want something else to open up my playing by having a tremolo... So What do you all think about the silo special and if you know one for a good price right now???

Silo special would be a great add to your collection, contact Pete or Nick DuBaldo they have a couple of nice ones in stock and sure they can hook you up!:)

MM designed the Silo Special for me, it's my signature model. Never mind that my name isn't on them, it's a little known secret. Ok, well, not really, but if I had one made specifically for me it would look, feel and sound like a Silo Special.

As for where, first place I'd look is right here, for either new or used Specials. "Course there's always eBay for used, but they show up here too. Good luck in your search! Awesome guitars in my book.

I love my Silo Special more that I think a person is supposed to love a guitar. It's incredibly playable, and having a trem that stay in tune makes me inclined to actually use it. Great axe!

Boy GP,

You sure know how to save money quick!! By the way, that wasn't your "Federal tax rebate check was it???

That's were I'd like to put mine!

I'm waiting for my "next" Axis to surface somewhere! I always have the periscope up constantly surveying, just waiting for it to break water somewhere - then "boom"!!

LOL:)

I love the Silhouette Special, it is such a killer instrument. If you really like the SUB1, you will absolutely love the SS. Trust me, you will not be disappointed.
