Just stunning.
I also think the small, unassuming fret dots have a part to play. A bloody PRS flying pig, or huge rectangles of abalone would detract from the top on other guitars.
But on the Axis, the flame top takes centre stage.
Deeply envious....

Thanks guys:D

Hey Dave,

Yes i got it from the guitar shop. I was talking to Paul a while back and we were discussing what he had on order, and he mentioned the Axis. I had to think about it for awhile especially since I have the Dargie coming. I ended up getting rid of an Axis SS, which was hard to do but was well worth it. It goes quite nicely with the Axis I picked up off of Lenny.

Paul mentioned the Pacific Ass last week when I saw him. I think he's got a honeyburst coming as well. Congrats on the ASS. I'm glad you got it. We need pictures, though.;)

Later,
Scott

Uh-oh, guess I better give Paul a call .... a honeyburst ASS? I've only got two already. 3 is just such a cool number;)

btw, nice Axis:D

I think this ASS would compliment your others quite nicely. I believe Paul said this one is going to have a rosewood neck.

Thanks for the Axis comment......I'm loving it. Incredible guitar.

I couldn't be happier. And, of course with all EBMM's it plays like a dream

Yep, matching headstock. I'm going to try and get a full pic of the guitar up soon.

Tristan, I was LMAO with that comment.:D Thanks.:)

Ah, Man. That ASS looks amazing. I'd get some better pics of that top and start a new thread. So the rest of the folks can see it.

I remember Paul mentioning that Albert Lee signed one of his guitars when he did the clinic up here. Glad you got it. Do you know whether he actually used that guitar during the clinic.
