I just got a Brand New three band Natural/Rosewood E45644 that came into my local shop last week. In addition to getting a great bass.....I now work at the shop too. I am just getting out of the Army and now I get to work at the Richmond Music Center. I am pretty sure it is one of, if not the biggest EB MM Dealers in VA. Fantastic pro shop and I think I have purchased at least 10 EB Basses from them over the past few years including the 1989 Natural that is in my Avatar that Truss Rod Gav now owns Down Unda. So the first thing I did to celebrate the job was of course....buy aniother Stingray. I am also getting another Natural SR5 tomorrow from a friend and that will give me a totally Natural Stable. :D

Now I have to take my Natural Strat and go play my country gig with some very un-natural country musicians.......

BTW....I have a Albert Lee Instructional Video with guess who playing bass.....

Biff ring a bell?! ;)

What???? Wow I would love to see that! Now y'all know..BP can play! FYI.. He is also a damn good 6 string player.

BTW..Congrats on the bass, and job!

Congrats on the job, Scott! That was pretty quick, and sounds like it should be fun too.

Congrats Scott!

I just left the music store I've been at for the last year and a half for a "real job" (read: one with benefits). It's not going to help your GAS!

Good deal, though. When I go back to MD to visit my family I'll have to make a stop and say hi.

Congrats Scott. Keep the folks here up to date on the best deals.....

Good on ya Scott!

Be careful with all the temptations. When I worked at a bike shop in college (when I was racing bikes), I had to write the shop a check on payday for the balance I owed them on top of my paycheck (cost + 5% was a little too tempting).

Is Bogart's still there in the Fan District? I used to live right across the street.

You are correct Todd. I used to have the same problem when I worked at a shop in New York. I will certainly be careful! :D

Ands Bogarts is still in the Fan. Cool place but they don't pay bands much so I have yet to play there. But the food is good ;)

Congrats on the job and the bass Scott

that could be a dangerous place for anyone with the gas to work
you do have a thing for the nats
