Hi Ya'll - I recently bought this at the closing down sale of a local Bass shop in Sydney .... always wanted one, never thought I'd get one left handed. And the price was very *very* good. My main bass over the past 30 years has been the Jazz Bass but this StingRay just blows everything else out of the ballpark ... everything about it is good ...suddenly my slapping is twice as good ....the instrument is weighted so well and sounds so good. I'm 45 now ... I was 14 when I started to learn bass ... I dreamed of having a Rickenbacker and a StingRay, I never thought I would happen .. I have both, which is the best of both worlds: the plonky fat Ric and the crisp dynamic StingRay.

Can't go wrong with classic black/white/maple.

Your reversed picture upsets my lizard brain as different, but the rest of my brain is happy for you. Ignore the lizard. He does that.

Welcome to the forum.

Here's a FAQ on setting it up, factory-like, since I had it on my clipboard:

How do I set up my Music Man bass?

thank you! Reversed picture? Nah .... it's the correct way around ... actually when I give a lesson to a right hander, they are sometimes confused by the other way around situation ... but to me, if I sit across from a right handed player, it's like looking at a mirror, so I find it very easy to follow.

Glad to be here
