So after swapping some PM's with Tommixx this fine bass came my way this weekend. My Dargie SR4 previously owned by Jack and Brad went to Tom. Haven't had time to take my own pics but enjoy the one from the for sale thread again. What a top on this thing! JOSH

Nice. I want, i want, I want. I played an HH 25th in San Fran and let me tell you (even though playing conditions were not ideal) the thing was a monster and soooo easy to play.

Me too!!

My like-new used 25th 4HSS arrived today, as well. They are gorgeous, aren't they? Play and sound is much closer to the Bongo than the Stingray, which I like. Congratulations on your new 5-er.

congrats & question

I never noticed it before, but the bridge pu on the dual humbucker seems further from the bridge than other models.

Am I deceived?

Wooow! :)

What an awesome looking bass!

Excellent choice of wood and colors! Fantastic! Look at that dots, mmm...!

If I were buying, choice will be the same! (well, maybe HSS model, must try before)

P.S. ...do I see 2 battery sockets? ...does that monster works on 18 Volts power supply?

Sure does, same as a Bongo and the 4 band EQ also but I hear tweaked a little. I've rarely used passive on ex- basses ( pre MM, all gone now ) but the passive on the 25th's are the best passive tones I've ever had.

Hey Josh!

Great bass congrats! I love that quilted TOP! I had the opportunity to snag one, but the funds just aren't there right now. Still need to find a job and the baby is due ANY day now.

Play her in good health!
