ITs amazing the guy let that go
Trust me I really did not want to! Sweetest MM I have ever had the privilege of owning. I have been playing "other" builder's basses for a long time and was stunned at the finish and tone of this bass. I am playing for a very picky producer who is a MM nut and needed an SR5 for the gig. I have an Ice Blue SR5 H coming tomorrow to go along with the Dargie 4H (that I will most likely sell since it is redundant to the SR4 I got) I got in trade for this one. I did some sessions last night and concluded that I HAVE to have another SR5 with a Rosewood neck to go along with the aforementioned Ice Blue SR5 and the Natural/Maple necked SR4 that I STOLE from GC a couple of days ago...For what it's worth, I have now become EXCLUSIVELY a MM player and do not see that changing anytime soon. I was a Lak***d endorser up until a few months when I was informed that "they could no longer meet my quality standards" by Grasshopper at Bass Central after I had some issues with a Lakie I ordered there. I should say that Beaver and crew handled the situation for me and I bought the bass in this thread from them soon after. I am VERY satisfied at the quality I have gotten from my MM's over the years and look forward to being a knucklehead for a long time to come! Thanks for making so many fine instruments, it makes it MUCH easier to let a beauty like this one go knowing that what replaces it will be just as good in every way!
Peace,
T
