Sweet bass, not big on the guard, but that can be changed easily if you feel it's necessary.

Plain black would get my vote.

Finally got home and pulled it out for photos! Got to play it for a while, too. These Bongos are beasts! I'm loving this instrument.

I have to say that I really like the pickguard. I am looking at getting alternate guards in the future. I am contemplating a stealth black pickguard or even tort.

funny enough (nice bass by the way) in my views the best pickguard for that bass would be either white pearl or white ice

An alternate PG should contrast IMHO. I like cream pearl, but MM doesn't make it and I don't know if the aftermarket shops have caught up with the Bongo6 yet.

Congratulations, it's beautiful. The pickguard looks great on that finish, it's a unique combination that says THIS IS YOUR BASS!
