…you haven't figured it out yet.

Ever go around and around needlessly on a decision?

I was looking, thinking, asking, and even planning a trip but it all just came down to some good advice from a forum member …
Get a Classic StringRay first. Nothing else can get you that sound. Not even another EBMM. Really.

At first I resisted this advice but last week, I went and actually spent some quality time with an SR5 and realized what I wanted. Monday, I made the call to Bass Central and today she arrived.

Here we have a brand new 2008 Limited Edition SR5 in Sequoia Gold.

Believe it when people say that the beauty of this finish can't be captured in pictures. The folks in SLO really got this one right and I'm glad she's a part of my arsenal.

While I don't think that oli@bass meant for you to get a SR5, but rather one of the Classic Rays (I call them Retro Rays:)), I think you have gotten a really awesome bass there and I think you'll be really happy with it. The LE finish is icing on a really awesome cake. Beautiful!

That is a beautiful looking bass, never been a major fan of gold hardware but on the "08 LE" like that it looks great.
Congrats an enjoy !

Agreed. I played one of those as well but what kept floating my boat was the "good old fashioned 3-band SR5" and the color scheme pushed me over the edge. My reasoning was that I can gt a Big Al or a Sterling or even a Classic Stingray any time but the 2008 LE's are relatively scarce so I got while the getting was good!

Stunning! Great choice! If looks can kill, that bass will have the killer tone!

Congrats on that beauty! I've bought a few basses from Bass Central - they're great to deal with!
