Nice. Verrrry nice.

Perhaps too nice?

Okay, this is a question I would like answering. Ebony fretboards. A noticable difference?

Nice one on the HS too :)

Congratulations!

Your response to my new Bongo 5 single H was: "That is lovely, sir."
Right back at you. That is lovely, sir.

That is indeed one gorgeous looking Bongo shaped caramel apple. Wait till you see the nice darker green that shows itself (compared to a Dargie 1) when the light is just right- just fantastic.

I'm not feeling a difference. And it has rounds on it, of course, so I'm not the best judge of whether or not there's a tonal difference....sounds a lot like my other Bongo with rounds, though. The ebony LOOKS fabulous, whether or not there's any difference in tone. Man, what a pretty board!

I noticed this already when sitting in the studio and looking at the headstock. It looked REALLY dark. Cool effect. Jeremy was walking around it, saying, "Oh, it's brown. Wait, it's gold! Is it red now? IT'S BACK TO GREEN!" He's intrigued.
