Whoa, holy crap, I forgot what a Bongo single coil will do.

The HS Bongos are starting to become my favorite ones. I've only been playing Bongos for 14 months but that combo is the one- for me. That being said, a good H or HH will give you a slightly different sound that is still excellent and very pleasing.

Ugh, ...mama!

I want one like this...!!! :)

Sooner or later I'll buy one of Bongos, and that's for sure!

P.S. ...since I tried that nice blue HSp Bongo 5 (remember?) I can't sleep at night! :D

1. Attach coated Slinkys.

2. Put blend knob all the way to "bridge".

3. Adjust bass to 75%.

4. Do the same to low mids.

Make big snarly noise here.

Wow.

Speaking of coated Slinkys, the set that is on this here bass has convinced me that they are my new favorite string. And it's an HS Dargie, what a coincidence!
