...or maybe I should say new B string day :D:eek::)

Tommixx and I traded basses. I had a 25th Quilted/Maple 4HH but wanted a 5HH and Tommix had a Quilted/Maple 5HH but wanted a 4HH. As you can imagine we where both able to find a solution to our problems

This 25th has changed hands a few times and has a colorful history but nothing compared to the epic journey like Hanse the wonder bass has made.

Since this bass has been around for a while I will only post a few picture. Now I have to go practice so I can get the obligatory 50 hours transition time booked on it before the gig in August.

The sound is every bit as good as my 25th with addition of the THUNDEROUS B string. There is definitely a lot of Monster Truck going on here! :D

If there is interest I can start a 4 sting to 5 string transition experience thread.

Now I'm off to play!

Congratulations! I'm in the same boat... should have gotten the 5 string version of the 25th... but let's see how the Reflex turns out.

Looking forward to reading about your "transition" experience. IMO, the 25th/Reflex is even better as a five string with regards to weight, balance, playing position, hand position etc.

:) Yes. Please let us know about your transition. That would be interesting.

How did you handle all the stuff with the german customs? I'm asking because you swapped basses - but did not buy and have no invoice/receipt?)

That's a good question, but may better be answered by pm. I would like to know that too.

Congrats for the even Bigger Monster Truck!!!
