My first 2 band EBMM.

Mary Kaye 2 band with flats. This baby sounds huge and plays as well or better than any bass Ive ever owned. This one is right around 9 pounds or maybe less, I would guess.

wow where did you hunt that one up?

haha Pops, it came from our good buddy Rex (silverburst).

This bass has so many neat features; light weight, trans white "mary kaye" finish, 2 band, KILLER birdseye and according to Gavs database its one of 5 in this config.

Not too shabby for a 16 year old bass huh.

Wow... That is awesome. Congrats on that one!

Is the slight pinkish color just my eyes/the camera, or is it really there in person?

It is pretty much white. It is, without a doubt, one of the best sounding and playing basses I have owned. At 9 pounds, 1 ounce, it is also one of the lightest Stingrays I have owned.

I am glad it found a good home.

Thanks for all the kind words folks.

Rex is right, this is one of the lightest Rays Ive ever owned, and Ive had quite a few.

I can now see what the appeal of the two band is. In a band setting last night, this bass sat just right in the mix.
