The U.K. distributor, Strings & Things, are displaying the new bass models this weekend at the London Bass Guitar Show at Kensington Olympia.
I went today to have a look. Very impressed with all three of them. There's always too much background noise at the show to try an instrument properly but these basses feel great in your hands.
The Caprice and Cutlass both have a satin finished neck - very sweet, sort of half-way between high gloss and oil/wax. Beautiful neck profiles. I particularly liked the maple necked Cutlass, and the Caprice is also super comfortable. Both basses are fairly lightweight.
Old Smoothie is a class act. Again, great neck profile, skunk stripe and gloss finish on this one. Loving the Chocolate Burst!
